### Job overview

Working at University Hospital of Wales you will support the Medicines Procurement Teams to develop and maintain a patient centred and responsive medicines procurement service.

### Main duties of the job

You will work as part of our Medicines procurement team. You will assist in the procurement of medication including controlled drugs and infusion fluids in to our acute hospital pharmacy departments.  This role is vital to ensure continued availability of medicines for administration to patients across the Health board  through the provision of a safe and efficient medicines procurement service.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and you’ll need to be able to work effectively with the existing team. You should have a Btec/NVQ level 3 in pharmaceutical science or equivalent, registration with the GPhC is essential, and you must be a qualified accuracy checking Pharmacy Technician or able to undertake the course, Hospital pharmacy experience is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
