The post holder will be responsible for providing support to the day-to-day management of Resident doctors, staff grades and consultant rotas at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

This role will be based across the Trust’s Wirral and Liverpool hospital sites.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of providing administrative support within a client service environment
- Experience of communicating with staff at all levels and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders using a variety of appropriate styles
- Experience of updating and maintaining information systems and databases and producing reports

**Desirable**

- Experience of working in medical rostering
- Experience of rota design and management

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to GCSE level/NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent (or equivalent experience).

### Knowledge and expertise

**Essential**

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including word, excel, power point, email and internet
- Knowledge of confidentiality, data protection and data security arrangements.

**Desirable**

- Working knowledge of ESR
- Working knowledge of NHS electronic job planning and rostering systems
- Working knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Working knowledge of all grades of UK Medical and Dental terms and conditions

- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to relate and communicate effectively with senior medical and managerial staff, both internally and externally.
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Good time management skills and the ability to work to fixed timescales
