An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly organised Band 4 Medical Secretary (37.5 hours per week, permanent) to work in the Perinatal CMHT. We are seeking an experienced secretary with a can-do attitude who enjoys working in a large team and demonstrates a commitment to delivering high quality administration support in an efficient and timely manner.

### Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills and have a broad range of administration and secretarial experience, being able to work with initiative and sometimes under pressure.

The post-holder will work as part of a dynamic team supporting consultants, clinicians and team managers in the smooth running of the Perinatal service.

The successful applicant will work directly with the consultant, providing secretarial duties and co-ordinate and facilitate the dissemination of information to and from the team and be required to deal efficiently, precisely and courteously with telephone calls from service users as well as health professionals.

- GCSE Maths & English

- Secretarial Qualification

### Experience

- Experience in working in a busy office environment
- Experience of working in an office environment that ensures confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Experience of working in a supervisory role and/or management of staff
- - Experience of working with members of the general public. Including patients/service users
