Specimen Reception is a fast-paced and high-output environment operating 24/7 to support vital analytical and diagnostic procedures within our Pathology Laboratories. Your role will include:

- Receiving, sorting, labeling, and preparing specimens for analysis.
- Accurate data entry to maintain essential records.
- Managing telephone inquiries with professionalism.

After comprehensive training, you will be part of the departmental shift system, covering weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure seamless service delivery.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of data entry or administrative typing

**Desirable**

- Previous experience of working in a NHS setting
- NHS laboratory experience within Specimen Reception (Blood Sciences)
- Experience of data entry on to computer LIMS systems

- Understanding of medical terminology

### Qualification
