The post holder does not hold formal line management responsibility; instead, they provide technical leadership, mentoring and hands-on expertise to Operations trade staff and contractors working within mechanical disciplines. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will act as Authorised Person for one or more mechanical specialisms (for example heating and ventilation, water safety, medical gas pipeline systems, or pressurised systems) as determined by service need and individual competency sign-off, supporting the Senior Mechanical Manager in ensuring mechanical systems remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose across all Trust sites.
