### Qualifications

**Essential**

- NMC Registered Nurse
- Relevant First Degree in health care related subject
- Specialist Critical Care nursing qualification at level six
- Formal Leadership training
- Formal management training
- Relevant teaching/mentoring qualification
- Evidence of ongoing dynamic continuing professional development linked to NMC registration standards

**Desirable**

- Master's degree in leadership or working towards
- PSIRF methodology training
- PNA qualification

- Management of complaints, DOC, and incidents, including implementation of proportionate and meaningful learning.
- Experience triangulating data to inform service priorities
- Managing the recruitment process
- Experience of introducing change to clinical environment
- Experience in service development and business planning
- Knowledge of current developments in healthcare and government policies
- Experience implementing PSIRF methodology (e.g. facilitate AAR discussions)
- Knowledge of Martha’s Rule and implications in practice

**Desirable**

- Experience in leading on quality, governance, clinical audit, performance standards and clinical improvements.
- Experience in implementing Martha’s rule in inpatient services and embedding as BAU, including monitoring its effectiveness/ efficiency.
- Experience of coaching/mentoring / undertaking PNA role
