As part of the implementation of a new leadership structure across the organisation, the following leadership opportunities have become available.

We are seeking to appoint candidates to the following posts within the Mental Health Care Group, across the leadership clusters listed below:

Matron (1.0 WTE) - Adult Mental Health Inpatient Care Unit, Highbury Hospital, Highbury Road, Nottingham Matron, Inpatient, ToC and ECT (1.0 WTE) - Older Peoples Care Unit, Highbury Hospital, Highbury Road, Nottingham

These roles will play a key part in shaping and delivering high-quality services within our newly established leadership arrangements.

### Main duties of the job

This role will provide clinical support, leadership and development to the designated area of responsibility within the Care Unit and to work within the wider senior nurse and management group. The role will assist in the development of new initiatives in partnership

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The role will require a registered RMN / RNLD professional to deliver recovery focussed nursing care to patients, in line with specific standards within a designated area of responsibility / environment. The post holder will ensure that the highest quality and national standards for a diverse group of patients is delivered and maintained.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Evidence of working at a senior level
- Evidence of teaching and assessing in clinical practice
- Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively
- Experience of leading/managing a team
- Evidence of having used expert knowledge, advanced nursing practice and autonomous decision making to manage patients conditions and care needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of case management
- Up to date professional portfolio demonstrating evidence of reflective practice and ongoing professional development
- Competent in undertaking a comprehensive assessment process and developing care plans

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities)
- Significant post registration experience in Mental Health or Learning Disabilities at a Masters level or equivalent experience
- Registered with the NMC
