### Job overview

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Assistant with a friendly and positive “can do” attitude for performing work of a routine complex nature, being responsible for minor repairs and routine planned maintenance activities.

You will be working in a team carrying out varied works with an emphasis on quality finish to meet with our customer’s high expectations. Duties can include carrying out repairs, assisting qualified tradesmen on repairs and installation and helping with engineering emergencies.

You will ensure compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures, taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment.

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have: - applied for a Graduate visa - or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment - or the Trust has agreed that they will Sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start

### Applicant requirements

- Basic English, numeracy and literacy skills required.

- City and Guilds Advanced Craft
- Apprenticeship or other recognised and approved training in Electrical / Mechanical services

- The ability to understand and behave at all times, towards patients, visitors and colleagues according to the Trust values of safe, kind, excellent.
