We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administrative Assistant to join our professional  service on a part time basis.

We’re a close team but we’re never exclusive, if you can bring a professional approach and fresh ideas we would love to hear from you.

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- You will have knowledge of up to date clinical practice by using up- to- date skills and adhering to evidence-based procedures and clinical effectiveness frameworks. You will have knowledge of the statutory guidance for promoting health and wellbeing of looked after children (dept Education and Department of Health 2015) as well as knowledge of the children act 1989 & 2004, the UN convention on Rights of the Child.

**Desirable**

- Having an awareness of developments within the NHS would be an advantage as well as an understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance

### Experience

**Essential**

- You’ll have experience in Primary care and child development. Or SCPHN Health visiting/school nursing, including experience working with vulnerable children and young people

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- You will have a Level 6 Degree or equivalent qualification, or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience plus a diploma in nursing.
- You will be a registered health care professional with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

**Desirable**

- Evidence of ongoing CPD to further develop knowledge and skills relating to children and young people.

### Skills and ability

**Essential**

- You will need to be able to be able to use IT systems and databases.
- A full, valid UK driving licence or a full driving licence issued by an EU country (not exchanged from a non-EU country) and the ability to travel independently are essential for this role.

### Personal attributes

**Essential**

- You will have the ability to focus on the details and spot any potential problems.
- You will know when you are within your own limits and when to escalate.

**Desirable**
