This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to contribute to a comprehensive tertiary paediatric neurology service, delivering high-quality care to children and young people with a wide range of neurological conditions. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Neuromuscular Disorders and will play a key role in supporting and developing our multidisciplinary neuromuscular service. The post holder will work alongside a team of consultant paediatric neurologists, specialist nurses, allied health professionals, and regional network partners to provide inpatient, outpatient, and outreach care. Opportunities exist to participate in service development, teaching, clinical governance, and research activities according to individual interests. ### Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities - Provide consultant-led paediatric neurology care within a tertiary neuroscience service. - Lead and contribute to specialist neuromuscular clinics and multidisciplinary team meetings. - Participate in the paediatric neurology on-call rota. - Support regional neuromuscular networks and outreach clinics. - Contribute to teaching and training of junior medical staff, nursing colleagues, and allied health professionals. - Participate in audit, quality improvement, and service development initiatives.
