They will take a major role in the delivery of complex epilepsy services at Evelina London and within the South East Thames Epilepsy Network. ### Main duties of the job - The post-holder will undertake general paediatric neurology and complex epilepsy clinics at Evelina London and will be expected to support the regional clinic model which operates to provide direct referral pathways for children with epilepsy who are then managed jointly with special interest general paediatricians in the South East Thames region of England. - The General Neurology remit will support the strategic direction of the Children’s Neuroscience Department as a whole and ensure the incumbent remains abreast of developments in Paediatric Neurology in general. - The incumbent will participate in the Paediatric Neurology on-call rota for ELCH. This is on an approximate 1 in 9 basis for a week in service. For this on call week all elective activity will be cancelled. Non-resident supervision and attendance will be required for this week.
