This post will be available for a period of 6 months. ### Main duties of the job This post will deliver 8.5PAs supporting the ENT team , and 1.5 SPAs The post will be based at Leeds General Infirmary. The successful applicant should hold accreditation the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent, and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director. Applicants should have established skills in Otolaryngology. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential. Consideration will be given to applicants who wish to work full or part time and those wishing to job share. The ENT Department consists of 14 Consultants. We cover all subspecialities in ENT including Rhinology, Skull base, Paediatrics, Head & Neck and Otology. We are looking for a fixed term locum to help with the expanding workload. There will also be on call commitments taking referrals from district hospitals as well as managing direct referrals. The Bexley Wing of St James Hospital is a state of the art oncology centre, serving the whole region. The paediatric work is carried out in the adjacent Childrens Hospital, with excellent ward and ICU facilities.
