The unit was rated as Good by the CQC in March 2025. The post-holder will be required to provide the full range of Gynaecology skills such as managing, Hysteroscopy lists, theatre lists and Gynae outpatient clinics and Colposcopy in collaboration with existing consultants.   The post-holder will be required to provide the full range of obstetric skills such as managing the Labour Ward, Section Lists and Maternity Assessment Unit in collaboration with existing consultants. This post is based primarily at University Hospital of North Midlands.  Clinical Duties will be across the Royal Stoke and County Hospital Sites with a total of  9.539PA’s.  You will participate in the following on-call: Gynaecology on-call – 1:12 Weekday and a 1:12 Weekend on-call ### Main duties of the job This post is based at University Hospital of North Midlands. The University Hospital is the main teaching hospital for the Keele University Undergraduate Medical School and there are close ties with the University of Keele and Staffordshire University. The successful candidate will have MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification .
