This post is a fixed term post (6 months) with a subspecialty focus in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) and Virtual Ward care. The appointee will work alongside 5 established respiratory consultants in a brand new, purpose-built respiratory unit. A dedicated team of respiratory nurses and physiotherapists oversee a 10 bedded Respiratory Virtual Ward. This post will facilitate an increase in this bed base, providing dedicated clinical oversight and strengthening the of the audit and governance of the current pathways.
