Locum Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Full Time - 10 PAs

Fixed term for 12 months

Salary Scale - £111,430 - £148,064 per annum (pro rata if part time)

We are seeking to appoint a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with skills complementary to existing consultant’s interests. An interest in high risk obstetrics, maternal diabetes or fetal medicine would be welcomed. However, any special areas of interest could be considered after appointment. A significant contribution to our antenatal footprint anticipated. The role will also cover the labour ward. The job plan consists of ten programmed activities including OOH.

### Qualifications

- Membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent
- Full GMC registration, with licence to practise
- Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCT)
- Applicants applying under the Portfolio pathway must be entered onto the GMC Specialist Register at time of application.

**Desirable**

- Higher degree e.g. MSc, MD or PhD higher degree
- MBA or other relevant diplomas
