Applications are welcomed for two full time (40 hours per week, 10PA) locum consultant posts in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The successful applicant will join an established team of consultants providing a comprehensive service to the population of Clyde. We are looking for motivated, forward-thinking colleagues who will develop and support new initiatives in the department. These are locum posts to cover maternity leave. Candidates should be able to offer both acute obstetrics and gynaecology skills and will be expected to deliver planned caesarean birth lists. The post will contribute to both the obstetrics and gynaecology rotas. Both jobs have clear gynaecology focus, contributing to outpatient gynaecology clinics and gynaecology operating. One will have more of an early pregnancy focus while the other gynaecology operating. Gynaecology ultrasound skills are essential to both post. As ever we continue to develop service and work through the backlog which requires flexibility and team work. Applicants must have full GMC registration and a license to practice. Applicants can be short listed if they have or are within 6 months of obtaining a CCT or CESR and must have evidence of the confirmed date.
