Working within a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will support delivery of high-quality community paediatric services, with a focus on autism, ADHD, epilepsy, learning disability and complex neurodevelopmental needs. Main responsibilities include: - Managing a specialist community paediatric caseload and undertaking assessment, investigation and treatment of children with neurodevelopmental and neurodisability conditions. - Contributing to multidisciplinary assessment pathways for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD, including attendance at weekly MDT meetings and diagnostic panels. - Undertaking Initial Health Assessments for Looked After Children and providing medical advice to support Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). - Working collaboratively with education, therapy services, CAMHS, learning disability teams and paediatric neurology colleagues to deliver integrated care. - Participating in monthly triage, clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and service development activities. - Providing clinical leadership, supervision and advice to medical and multidisciplinary colleagues where appropriate. - Maintaining high standards of patient care, safeguarding practice, appraisal, revalidation and continuing professional development ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please refer to the attached Job description, Person specification and Specialty/ Trust Brochure for further details on: - What we can offer - Job Plan/On-call Requirements - The Team ### Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
