It is necessary for the post holder to have Level 2/3 Neonatal experience and to be confident in managing neonatal emergencies. There is a consultant resident on site 24 hours and the postholders will be on call from home for the neonatal unit. There is an additional general paediatric consultant on call from home to support the paediatric service.  There is currently no resident night component to this post.
