The city is the gateway to the Gower Peninsula, designated an ‘Area of We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Locum Consultant Dermatologists to join our friendly, dynamic, innovative department for a 12 month period fixed term. This post will provide cover at Neath Port Talbot and Singleton Hospitals. We encourage applicants to bring their own ideas and ways to develop the service for the future Applicants must be on the UK’s specialist register, or be within 6 months of their award of certificate of completion of training (CCT) or will be an established Consultant. ### Main duties of the job Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Walking, fishing, surfing, canoeing and sailing flourish in the area and Walkers/ ramblers are spoilt for choice. The magnificent “Worms Head” snaking out to sea is one of the finest views in the world; yet you have all the facilities of urban life at hand. Excellent state and independent schools are available. There is easy access to the M4 corridor. Singleton is a University Teaching Hospital allied to the College of Medicine at the rapidly expanding Swansea University and is a designated training unit for higher specialist training in Wales. We are consistently rated highly in the GMC junior doctors’ surveys. There are excellent teaching and collaborative research opportunities with Swansea and Cardiff Universities.
