Facilities include an on-site Chemotherapy Day unit and newly built Radiotherapy Suite. University Hospitals Plymouth is proud to offer our patients a broad portfolio of clinical trials and supports all staff to engage in research, all Oncology staff are supported with job-planned  time, and a team of Research staff. All Consultants manage their own site-specific workload and participate in our Acute Oncology Service on a 1 week in 15 rotation.  Appropriate relocation support will be offered to suitable candidates based on their individual circumstances. You will be expected to participate in a minimum of 1 in 15 acute oncology service cover including weekend rounds and off site cover at night. On call duties are supported by an Oncology Higher resident. Appropriate dedicated specialist nursing and administrative and operational support will also be provided.
