University Hospital is a large teaching hospital and is the Major Trauma centre for the Central England Trauma Network.  We have a large Department of Anaesthesia which delivers perioperative care to around 44,000 elective and emergency patients.  We provide anaesthesia and perioperative care for all major sub-specialties including  cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and renal transplant services. ### Main duties of the job - To provide and further develop anaesthesia, pain and critical care services for the Trust in collaboration with colleagues in all disciplines including primary and tertiary care to provide an integrated and high quality service for patients.
