You will have a study leave budget and study leave allowance. ### Main duties of the job General Responsibilities In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to provide a service in various specialties with responsibility for in-patients. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to play a full part in the out-of-hours On-Call service for the department. To provide on call and ward cover for colleagues in respect ofperiods of leave. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to take part in medical audit and research as appropriate. In conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, to ensure that the requirements of clinical governance are met. To ensure that there are adequate arrangements for hospital staff involved in the care of your patients to be able to contact you when necessary. The post holder will be a member of the Cardiac Arrest Team and will receive continuing training in this field during their time in post. The post holder will be on a rota including days, nights and weekends. ### About us We operatefrom three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, andUlverstonCommunity Health Centre. FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
