This is a senior role requiring expert clinical knowledge in MRI, leadership and team management abilities, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care and service development. A postgraduate certificate in MR imaging is desirable. Candidates without this qualification will be required to complete an appropriate postgraduate certificate in MR imaging upon successful appointment. The successful candidate should have significant experience in leading and developing an MRI service, teaching and training more junior staff and in service management. You will be responsible for trust wide delivery of the MR service including the CDC scanning facility which provides bespoke facilities to support patient pathways. The role will involve planning and managing service provision against established key performance indicators, leading a team of staff and working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure service provision meets the needs of our patients. You will be an expert in MR imaging and provide clinical leadership to support the team in developing new pathways, processes and procedures as required.
