The role will work alongside other Research Delivery Leads, who together are responsible for the day to day management of the research delivery staff within the Research & Innovation Department. The post holder will work on research trials across all specialties, ensuring they maintain a reasonable balance between research delivery and line management responsibilities for the wider workforce.  The post holder will play a key role in ensuring robust feasibility is conducted in order to support NIHR targets for trial delivery and will support robust performance management of the research portfolio in order to maximize opportunities for patients to take part in research across our clinical specialties. This will involve working closely with a range of stakeholders including Principal Investigators, Research Governance staff, and support services to promote collaborative research delivery. ### Main duties of the job The postholder will be responsible for the day to day line management of members of the clinical delivery team, and will coordinate and contribute to recruitment to clinical trials. This will involve ensuring full feasibility assessment is conducted for all trials, and working with staff across the Trust to develop strategies to overcome barriers to recruitment.
