The Children's Community Nursing team is based within the Royal Derby Hospital as part of University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust. We cover the following geographical areas - Southern Derbyshire, Derby City and Erewash. For this role we are looking for someone who has exceptional communication skills and can demonstrate expert knowledge and clinical assessment skills. You will be required to manage the daily challenges associated with leading a team of community nurses and supporting staff to deliver the highest level of care possible to our service users and their families whilst directly line managing staff and having oversight and awareness of the caseload of children that the team are caring for. You will need to be motivated to lead development within the service. This will require you to have experience of implementing change in policies, procedures, service specification and managing the assurance of good practice and service delivery to the senior leadership team. You must be a car user with a full, clean driving licence.
