Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including pharmacists, nursing and medical staff, the post holder will ensure the safe, effective and efficient use of medicines for service users. The role includes accuracy checking, leading on medicines reconciliation, medication supply processes and discharge support, as well as contributing to clinical governance activities including audit, training and service improvement. The post holder will have responsibility for line management, supervision and development of pharmacy technicians and assistants, ensuring high standards of practice and compliance with relevant legislation, policies and professional standards. This post is based within our West Norfolk, and Great Yarmouth and Waveney localities and will be based in Norwich.
