Barnet Community Rehabilitation Team (B CRT) supports and treats people with severe and enduring mental illness and high support needs in the London Borough of Barnet.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

- Excellent communication skills, verbal, nonverbal and written
- Excellent skills in assessing physical health and undertake physical examination and blood tests
- Assessing and prioritising patient needs

**Desirable**

- Experience of working in a multi-cultural society

### Experience

**Essential**

- Previous medical or psychiatric experience in foundation training or equivalent

**Desirable**

- Experience in adult acute inpatient psychiatry including clinical attachment in psychiatry in UK.
- Experience working in the NHS.
- Previous evidence of an interest in psychiatry

### Qualifications & Experience

**Essential**

- Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise from the GMC by the intended start date

**Desirable**

- A minimum of 3 months experience in psychiatry (its equivalent gained on a part time basis) or equivalent experience and competencies in psychiatric specialties
- Other postgraduate qualification of relevance
