LAS Dental Core Trainee

Fixed term for 12 months

Please note that this is a 50% vacancy covering the other half of an LTFT trainee.

The post is joint with County Hospital. There are 6 Dental Core Trainees. The ST1/2 form one rota – a 1:7, based at Royal Stoke covering both Stoke and County hospitals (travelling to Stafford whilst on call is not required).

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

## Person Specification

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- BDS or equivalent/MBBS or equivalent
- Full GDC/GMC registration

**Desirable**

- MFDS or MRCS Part A

### Clinical Experience

**Essential**

- 12 Months of Post Graduate experience in any dental speciality either in the UK/EEC or abroad (including General Practice)

**Desirable**

- Previous experience at SHO level in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
