### Job overview

To provide comprehensive, high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Integrated Community Paediatric Service (ICPS), ensuring the effective coordination of processes and delivery of services across the team.

The postholder will facilitate effective communication and liaison between the Local Authority, health professionals, carers and partner agencies to support the health needs of Looked After Children (LAC) and ensure statutory requirements are met.

The role includes providing confidential administrative support to the Named Doctor for LAC and supporting LAC doctors in their responsibilities as medical advisers to fostering and adoption panels, including the coordination and preparation of documentation, reports and follow-up actions.

The postholder will coordinate and collate information from multiple agencies and professionals to support statutory processes relating to fostering, adoption, Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and the Bolton Social Communication Interaction Panel (BSCIP), ensuring statutory deadlines are achieved and workload priorities are effectively managed.

The role also involves extracting, compiling and preparing data for audits, dashboards, surveys and reporting purposes, alongside supporting the smooth and efficient operation of administrative systems within the Process and Coordination Team in conjunction with the Team Leader.

### Main duties of the job

- Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the Integrated Community Paediatric Service (ICPS) and Process & Coordination Team.
- Act as a key point of contact for enquiries relating to Looked After Children, liaising with social workers, carers, health professionals and partner agencies.
- Coordinate and support statutory processes including fostering and adoption panels, Initial Health Assessments, EHCP processes and BSCIP administration.
- Manage appointments, meetings, diaries and documentation for Named and Designated Doctors, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, databases and administrative systems in line with data protection requirements.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, dashboards, audits and data analysis to support service monitoring and performance reporting.
- Prioritise and manage workload independently to support the efficient running of the service and delivery of high-quality support to vulnerable children and young people.

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
