An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Junior Trust Specialist Doctor to join our team in the Emergency Department at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. The post is an opportunity to work at CT3 level with the support and of our consultants and current middle grades to gain registrar level experience.

### Main duties of the job

The Emergency Department attends to over 100000 patients annually and is nationally competitive in key performance indicators and remains nationally recognised for high patient satisfaction ratings. Therefore, evidencing our commitment to exceptional clinical care and patient experience. As a CT3 in Emergency Medicine you will play a pivotal role in providing and driving high-quality care whilst also supporting junior colleagues to achieve this for all patients.

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

With our 14 Consultants of Emergency Medicine this is a great time to join our department and contribute to our ethos of continuous improvement. We strongly support a culture of learning for all staff groups in order to be a center of excellence in the service we provide for our patients and the support we provide our doctors to achieve their career advancements in Emergency Medicine. Post holders will also benefit from allocated time for non-clinical CPD and opportunities to lead ED service improvements. The department encourages career progression and offers the opportunity for promotion to an independent Doctor (equivalent to Middle Grade) position subject to meeting the requirements of this post, we actively support applicants wishing to undertake the FRCEM and CESR.
