To deliver safe, effective and high quality care to children, young persons and their families. ### Main duties of the job We are looking for individuals who have excellent clinical and organisational skills and can provide leadership to the nursing team in order to ensure high quality care is delivered to our patients. The successful candidates will be required to take charge of the department on a day-to-day basis and coordinate flow of patients from arrival through to discharge whilst ensuring patient safety and the sustainability of good staff morale. You will manage the department whilst upholding and promoting the Trust Values. Managerially the successful candidate will be expected to manage a team of staff and guide them in their personal and professional development. We are committed to developing our nursing staff. We also offer access to PILS, EPALS and management matters. As well as lots of opportunities to develop yourself further in a chosen area via a link worker role.
