F3 is predominantly a Day of surgery ward as well as a short stay admission unit and infusion area. We are looking for someone with good organisational and clinical skills with a vision to provide a quality service to the patients we see. You will be expected to work alongside the existing team to provide a positive experience for patients and family members whilst helping to develop the service we provide. As a band 6 there will be an expectation that you will lead a team of staff and undertake development reviews, 1:1 meetings and complete sickness meetings. You will also be responsible for developing the service and creating a positive work environment for all staff on F3. You will be required to have a good understanding of how F3 works, what patient groups we see and be able to work alongside members of the MDT to enable efficient working between theatres, recovery and other areas. ### Main duties of the job You will be responsible for competently providing safe and effective care, without supervision to children requiring in-patient hospitalisation and day stay care facilities. Assess care needs, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care. Participate in the supervision, teaching, mentorship and appraisal of pre and post registration staff.
