Interventional & Fluoroscopy Imaging Clinical Lead Radiology

37.5 Hours per Week Permanent Band 7

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiographer to join our Radiology team as Interventional & Fluoroscopy Imaging Clinical Lead. This leadership role combines advanced clinical practice with operational management, service development and team leadership.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Interventional Radiology (IR) and Fluoroscopy services, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, safe and efficient service while maintaining an active clinical presence within the department. Working closely with Consultant Radiologists, senior radiology leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in driving service improvements, developing staff capability and supporting the continued growth of our Interventional Radiology service.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the daily operational and clinical management of the Interventional Radiology and Fluoroscopy services.

Supervising, mentoring and supporting a team of Radiographers to deliver outstanding patient care.

Working alongside the Practice Educator to ensure training, competency and professional development requirements are achieved.

Coordinating the Interventional Radiologist on-call rota to maintain appropriate service provision.

Collaborating with Radiologists, booking teams and wider hospital stakeholders to ensure efficient patient pathways.What

We're Looking For

HCPC registered Radiographer.

Extensive experience within Interventional Radiology and Fluoroscopy.

Previous leadership, supervisory or senior-level experience within a Radiology environment.

A passion for clinical excellence, staff development and service improvement.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive and collaborative approach to leadership.
