An exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Team Manager at HMP Wakefield prison.

The successful candidate will work closely with the multi disciplinary team to provide leadership and operational management.

### Main duties of the job

o The management and delivery of a needs-led and recovery-focussed integrated psychosocial service, which includes low intensity and high intensity drug and alcohol treatment within a custodial setting.o To manage, direct and support the supervision of DART and programmes within the establishment, including psychosocial interventions and the delivery of the programmes.o The management and implementation of a range of psychosocial interventions including the Inclusion Recovery Programme (IRP) to substance misusing offenders within a prison environment.o Developing and supervising links and pathways to enable the DART service to work in partnership with key agencies to ensure service users are supported on their individual recovery journeys.o Managing the relationship with the prime providers of the contract, PPG.

To be responsible for the provision of a drug and alcohol recovery service (incorporating assessment, recovery planning, casework coordination and psycho-social interventions) to problem drug and alcohol users located within the prison establishment. To effectively supervise liaison and develop links with partner agencies to provide a through-care service for prisoners from the point of entry into the prison system to release into the community so that reoffending is reduced and the health, well-being and social functioning of Service User is improved. To contribute and work within the prison and wider drug strategy. To be responsible for implementing Inclusion policies, protocols, SOPs and developing LOPs in conjunction with the clinical prescribing team and mental health team.

- Experience of criminal justice field
- Experience of working with substance misuse

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Professional Qualification ( Degree & Post graduation or equivalent) and/or Relevant experience in comparative setting inclusive of management experience
