### Job overview

We are looking for a well organised enthusiastic administrator to join our friendly team in the ultrasound department at Addenbrookes hospital. This is a busy role which will primarily involve organising ultrasound scans for patients who are on the wards or need emergency scans.

### Main duties of the job

Good communication and telephone skills are essential as the role involves contacting the wards to arrange appointments and patient preparation for ultrasound scans and taking messages.

You will work closely with the sonographers, nursing staff and the radiology doctors to ensure that we deliver an efficient friendly service to the patients.

Previous experience of using computer systems will be an advantage however full training will be given.

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have:

-        applied for a Graduate visa

-        or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment
