### Join Our Team as an Informatics Support Officer / Clerical Team Leader

Are you ready to take the next step in your career with a unique opportunity to support and shape imaging informatics? We are offering a full time position at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, where you will play a key role in supporting the Diagnostic Imaging Department within NWAFT.

### About the Role

You will work closely with the Clerical Manager and Clinical Systems Team within Diagnostic Imaging to deliver exceptional informatics services. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the clerical team across the Trust.
- Managing and analysing diagnostic imaging data.
- Overseeing day-to-day administration within the department.
- Performing basic statistical analyses and generating reports.
- Producing regular feedback reports for staff and local healthcare providers as directed by the Diagnostic Imaging leadership team.

In addition, you will be required to deputise for other team members during their absence and contribute to maintaining high standards within the department.

### Main duties of the job

- Responsible for the weekly clerical rota.
- Responsible for clerical annual leave requests.
- Deputise for the Clerical Manager.
- Carry out MPAs on clerical team members.
- Plan, organise and prioritise a broad range of complex activities including their own and other staff members.
- Problem solve and trouble shoot within an unpredictable environment to ensure continuity of service.
- First point of contact for clerical issues on the Hinchingbrooke site.

## Person Specification

### Education

**Essential**

- Degree or equivalent level of experience
- GCSE OR Equivalent

**Desirable**

- Qualification in information systems / Microsoft software packages

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Support role within NHS environment
- Team working and unsupervised working
- Experience of dealing with conflicting priorities
- Dealing with staff, management and supplies at all levels

### Knowledge / Key Skills / Abilities

**Essential**

- NHS / public sector experience and knowledge
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to learn and develop new skills and techniques
- Ability to manage own workload unsupervised and under pressure
- Excellent customer services skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of NHS information and reporting systems
- National and local NHS targets and initiatives
- Knowledge of CRIS, PACS & Clinisys Ice
