### Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as an Incinerator Loader within the Environmental Services Team. The Incinerator Loaders – Waste Collectors will assist the Environmental Services Manager and his/her staff in providing an efficient waste collection and reception service in accordance with the following list of duties.

### Main duties of the job

To assist the Environmental Services Manager and Lead Engineer in providing an efficient waste collection and reception services

To act as main reception for all wastes coming into the Incinerators from;

Both on site customers, and the Logistics Team From outside contracted customers via the waste collection vehicle From contracted customers delivering their own wastes. All in accordance with Waste Licensing Regulations

To ensure that all procedures for the Receipts of Waste are carried out, and that any discrepancies are reported to the Environmental Services Manager or the Lead Engineer as soon as possible in accordance with the Environmental Management System (EMS)

To maintain the service yard, waste receiving areas, in a clean and orderly system

To ensure that wastes are handled correctly using PPE as procedures, and all waste is placed in appropriate containers

To be familiar with the Incinerator Permit, and adhere to conditions therein regarding the keeping of wastes within licensed areas

To enter all data with regard to waste received on waste management data base using computer and electronic devices

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have: -    applied for a Graduate visa -    or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment -    or the Trust has agreed that they will Sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date of employment
