### Job overview

We are seeking a IMT-LAS (Senior Clinical Fellow level) to join our well-established and supportive General Medicine team within Withybush General Hospital. This is a 6-month fixed-term post from 05/08/2026 to 02/02/2027.

This role closely mirrors higher specialty training, offering structured development and experience to support progression into ST training or portfolio pathway routes.

You will work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team delivering care across Acute Medicine & SDEC.

### Main duties of the job

- Work as a core member of the multidisciplinary team within the Acute Medicine & SDEC
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities
- Engage in teaching and professional development opportunities
- Work with a named supervisor to develop and progress a personalised development plan
- Undertake additional training opportunities (e.g. community care or critical care) to support career progression where required

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

- Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
- Flexible approach to the needs of the service.

### Teaching

**Essential**

- Willingness to teach all grades of professional multidisciplinary staff.

**Desirable**

- Evidence of organising programmes and teaching medical students and resident doctors.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Shall have at least 4 years full time Postgraduate experience (or its equivalent on a part time or flexible basis).
- Able to demonstrate core competencies and clinical skills relevant to the post.
- NHS Experience.

**Desirable**

- Able to demonstrate evidence of leading a team.

### Clinical Governance

**Essential**

- Participation in clinical audit (or quality improvement project) and understanding role of audit in improving medical practice.

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of risk management.
- Knowledge of annual job planning/appraisal review process.

### Qualifications and Knowledge

**Essential**

- Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.
- Valid Certified Advanced Life Support.

**Desirable**

- Additional clinical qualification(s).
- Evidence of working towards membership of the Royal College.
