We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Improvement Advisor to join our Improvement and Transformation Team. You will help teams across the Trust design, test and embed sustainable improvements that strengthen patient care, staff experience and organisational performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with clinical and operational teams, using improvement methodologies, data, coaching and facilitation skills to support meaningful change. You will help teams identify opportunities for improvement, develop innovative solutions and embed a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about improvement, values collaboration and is motivated by making a positive difference. Whether supporting large-scale transformation programmes or local service improvements, you will play a key role in helping colleagues deliver better outcomes for our communities.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will lead delegated improvement projects and defined workstreams within the Trust’s improvement and transformation portfolio, working under the professional direction of Senior Improvement Advisors and the relevant Associate Director.

Using improvement science, systems thinking, service redesign and programme and project management approaches, the post holder will support teams and partners to understand problems, test and implement change, measure impact and sustain improvement. The role will facilitate improvement activity and larger System and whole pathway transformations. They will also facilitate value management improvement workshops and capability development sessions with teams.

The post holder will work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams, people with lived experience and internal and external partners to improve quality, outcomes, experience, productivity and value.

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Knowledge of the application of the science of QI approaches in a range of contexts.
- Knowledge of steps for successful measurement and the skills to use measurement approaches to demonstrate project outcomes.
- Ability to enable teams to make appropriate interventions through accurate analysis of the problem.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Creation and delivery of quality improvement training in a health setting
- Prior experience of utilising the Model for Improvement
- Significant improvement experience in a large organisation and able to demonstrate measurable outcomes.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Masters in health / social care, improvement, change management subject or applicable experience
- QI qualification Recognised improvement qualification, or equivalent structured training and practical experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in improvement, facilitation, coaching, service redesign or project delivery.
