### Main duties of the job

- Act as the Trust's first point of contact for immigration and visa-related queries, providing specialist advice to managers, employees and candidates.
- Manage the end-to-end Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) process through the Sponsorship Management System (SMS), ensuring compliance with UKVI requirements.
- Maintain sponsored worker records, visa expiry dates and right-to-work documentation, ensuring accurate data is recorded within ESR and HR systems.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and HR colleagues on immigration compliance and sponsorship requirements.
- Manage the Trust's redeployment process and act as the first point of contact for redeployees, managers and HR colleagues.
- Provide support and guidance to employees affected by organisational change, capability, ill health or redundancy.
- Work closely with recruiting managers, Recruitment colleagues and HR Business Partners to identify suitable redeployment opportunities and ensure processes are followed consistently.
- Maintain accurate redeployment records and the TRAC Redeployment Pool, ensuring applications and outcomes are tracked effectively.
- Support redeployees with applications and interview preparation
- Produce reports on immigration, sponsorship and redeployment activity, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of policies, procedures and working practices.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working within recruitment.
- Working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of planning, organising and scheduling activities for self while working within a pressurised working environment with changing and conflicting priorities.
- Experience in a fast-paced administrative role requiring high accuracy, data inputting and adherence to strict external timelines.
- Experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex rules, policies or legal frameworks to a wide audience.

**Desirable**

- Experience of implementing and monitoring systems and processes to support the delivery of an effective and efficient service.
- Experience of practical problem solving and solving complex recruitment issues.
- Experience delivering customer service or advisory support, especially to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds or non-native English speakers.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to degree or equivalent experience in a Recruitment environment
- Must demonstrate commitment to personal and career development, eg good knowledge of Employment Law, best practice, regular attendance at training or update sessions.

**Desirable**

- Graduate of Chartered institute of CIPD (or working towards/be willing to work towards) or equivalent experience.

### Skills & Knowledge

**Essential**

- Up-to-date knowledge of right-to-work checks standards and applying this knowledge practically.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of UK visa requirements.
- Ability to devise and present information in a range of formats and tailor presentation approach to a variety of audiences.
- Competent user of recruitment tracking systems such as TRAC, NHS Jobs.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office programmes.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex immigration rules and Trust Policy and Procedures.

- Attention to detail with a proven ability to identify data inconsistencies, omissions or compliance risks in documentation.
