Are you passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and looking to develop your career within a specialist imaging environment? Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Imaging Assistant to join our dynamic Nuclear Medicine and PET CT teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly skilled and supportive team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our services across both Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals.

As an Imaging Assistant, you will work alongside radiographers and technologists to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. The role combines both patient-facing and administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients while contributing to the effective running of the department.

### Main duties of the job

- Supporting radiographers and technologists within the clinical environment
- Supporting and assisting patients throughout their appointment
- Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients and visitors
- Undertaking a range of clerical and administrative duties
- Supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the Nuclear Medicine and PET CT services
- Rotating between Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital as part of the role

### Skills

**Essential**

- Good team working and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative

- Ability to perform intravenous procedures

### Education

**Essential**

- Numeracy, and spoken and written English, to an appropriate standard to fulfil the job requirements. (Adult Basic Skills Literacy L2, Numeracy L1)

- Qualifications involving patient care

### Experience

**Essential**

- Demonstrate a clear insight into the role
- Up to date experience; worked within a care setting within the last 18 months

**Desirable**

- Previous hospital experience in a clerical /clinical capacity within a multidisciplinary team or working with the public
