### Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity  within the Clinical Administration  team (CAS) for a Hub manager.

You will be responsible for proactively managing the administration team, including outpatients, WL and typing and tracking teams. Focus will be on ensuring the hub is meeting the expected KPI's and identifying continuous service improvements.

You’ll be required to analyse performance data ensuring high standards of operational integrity, using the data to coach and develop your team.

As an advocate for the clinical administration service, you will be a visible role model promoting the work and achievements of our teams.

- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident telephone manner
- Has previous experience of managing a team
- Has a good understanding of and strong interest in the NHS
- Has experience of working effectively with minimal supervision
- Thrives on a challenge
- Remains calm under pressure, can manage a number of tasks simultaneously and maintain excellent attention to detail while working to strict deadlines
- Is an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of people, including senior key stakeholders and colleagues
- Has great writing and administrative skills, with competency in using Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Uses their initiative and can think on their feet
