The Complex HR Team in Workforce and Organisational Development are looking to recruit experienced, enthusiastic support officers to become a key member of their team.

These roles are pivotal in supporting the organisation in achieving its workforce attendance and wellbeing objectives, ensuring a comprehensive and proactive sickness absence management service that supports the workforce team, managers and employees in the effective management of attendance and wellbeing.

The post holder will coordinate and monitor sickness absence processes, provide advice on policies and procedures, facilitate timely interventions, and work collaboratively with employees, Managers, Occupational Health wellbeing and other stakeholders to support employee wellbeing, attendance improvement, and organisational compliance. The role contributes to reducing sickness absence levels, promoting a healthy workforce, and ensuring a consistent, fair, and compassionate approach to attendance management across the organisation.

You will need to possess excellent organisational and persuasive skills as you will be a key player in arranging and co-ordinating a large number of meetings, securing key participants and preparing documentation.

You will also be responsible for providing reports relating to sickness absence activity undertaken on a monthly basis

### Main duties of the job

To provide support to the Operational HR Team.  Your main duties will include:

- Analysing key performance metrics and data relating to sickness absence, monitoring trends
- Ensuring employees and managers receive timely advice and guidance throughout the attendance management process
- Arranging meeting and hearings
- Updating reports
- Preparing documentation including scanning, photocopying, binding

### Experience

**Essential**

- Extensive Office experience, use of electronic diary management
- Extensive use and knowledge of Microsoft Office

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Diploma level of education or equivalent demonstrable expertise in a full range of administrative skills, acquired through training and experience.
- Good general education
- Advanced keyboard skills

**Desirable**

- Evidence of further study and personal development
- An interest in the work of an HR department
