An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Workforce Business Partner Team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an HR Administration Assistant.

This is a fixed-term opportunity until 30 April 2027 to provide cover for a secondment within the team.

Working within a busy and supportive workforce function, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Workforce Business Partner Team, helping to deliver a professional, efficient and customer-focused service to managers and staff across the Trust. The role offers exposure to a wide range of workforce activity, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Human Resources.

We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent digital, communication, administration and IT skills who can manage a varied workload whilst maintaining accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality. You will work closely with Workforce Business Partners, Deputy Workforce Business Partners and colleagues across the Trust, playing an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality workforce services.

### Main duties of the job

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Workforce Business Partner Team, ensuring a professional and efficient service is maintained.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, formal hearings and workforce-related panels, including preparing agenda packs, taking minutes and arranging associated administrative requirements.
- Prepare, format and maintain workforce documentation including letters, reports, presentations, policies, spreadsheets and other correspondence.
- Support the production and distribution of workforce reports, management information and key performance data.
- Assist Workforce Business Partners in the collection, analysis and presentation of workforce metrics and trends.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries, providing a professional first point of contact for managers, staff and external organisations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential workforce records, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements and Trust policies.
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications, ESR and digital systems to support the effective operation of the service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Workforce Team to support service priorities and projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and undertake additional duties commensurate with the role as required.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Qualifications Good basic level of secondary education

**Desirable**

- Educated to at least A level or equivalent

### Previous Experience

**Essential**

- Experience in a similar role
- Experience of dealing with customers (external or internal) in some form

**Desirable**

- Experience of working within the NHS.

### Skills and Knowledge

**Essential**

- Ability to foster good relationships with others
- Ability to produce written reports and correspondence to a high level
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Well-developed communication skills

**Desirable**

- knowledge of NHS terms and conditions
