Housekeeping |Team Lead |Dunedin, Reading | Full time – 37.5 hours | Permanent

Spire Dunedin Hospital are looking for a dedicated and motivated Senior Housekeeper to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will assist the Head Housekeeping in supervising the housekeeping service. Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout, according to hospital policies

Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has two theatres, 16 inpatient beds, three recovery bays, Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite

Duties and responsibilities:

- Supervise the day-to-day housekeeping duties
- Manage key performance indicator figures
- Ensure completion of time sheets
- Maintain and develop a quality cleaning service with an emphasis on infection control
- Implement induction training keeping with hospital policies and procedures
- Ensure that accurate housekeeping cleaning records are kept

Who we're looking for:

- Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping in a similar capacity
- Line management/supervisory experience
- Good knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations would be beneficial
- You must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well with other members of staff and patients in a professional manner
- Capable of working on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
- Flexible to work various shift patterns (early mornings, days, and evenings) and days across Monday-Sunday.
