### Main duties of the job

We will provide you with resources to develop and progress a long-term career to include flexibility, continual professional development as well as a wide range of wellbeing and support.

Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, housekeeping teams ensure the cleanliness of the Trusts estate in accordance with national standards and the Trusts strategic cleaning plan.

You will be responsible for delivering a fully comprehensive and professional cleaning service, to meet NHS standard of cleanliness and other housekeeping duties in accordance with schedules and procedures and will work within local community hospitals/other inpatient settings/health centres/clinics and administration areas. You will also be required to relay information that may impact on other clinical/non-clinical services. The role will provide you with variety as no two days are the same.

In return, you will receive full support, training, and guidance to enable you to undertake a range of cleaning duties to include, general cleaning tasks (bathrooms, kitchens, wards, clinics, theatres, office areas, etc.) as well as specialised cleaning processes to include machines, with some specific tasks being tailored to the needs of a particular service and around patient care.
