### An exciting opportunity has come up to join the 4A team as Housekeeper on a part time basis (11 hrs per week). Hours can be flexible and working patterns can be discussed at interview but could include early mornings/late afternoons or weekends.

### Our patient population is predominantly frail and elderly, with many patients experiencing dementia and requiring assistance with food, fluid and nutrition. Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment is essential to supporting high quality, compassionate and person centred care.

### The Ward Housekeeper plays a vital role within the ward team, supporting patient care through high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention and control, meal service support and stock management. The role contributes significantly to patient comfort, dignity and safety, particularly for our vulnerable patient group.

### Successful applicants will join a friendly and motivated team who work closely together to ensure the smooth running of the ward.

### Candidates with experience or a genuine interest in delivering person centred care, particularly for patients living with dementia or delirium, would be advantageous; however, full training and support will be provided.

### This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

### ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
