The successful candidate will work to support and strengthen existing links with temporary accommodation, support services and mental health treatment services within the city of Manchester. The post holder will be supported by a well-established, specialist multi-disciplinary, trauma informed homeless mental health team and will work with individuals who are experiencing mental health problems. The role of the team is to work with a range of partnership services and homeless individuals to assess and identify the appropriate treatment pathways to address these unmet needs. This post is open to secondment candidates and we can also consider a fixed term contract. Funding for this post is currently confirmed until 31/03/2028. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will provide engagement and assessment to clients with complex mental health and dual diagnosis needs. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of mental health needs for homeless individuals who are not engaged with mainstream mental health services.
