An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Stroke Rehabilitation Team Lead to manage and lead a team of Multiprofessional Rehabilitation Assistants (MPRAs) within the stroke service. We are seeking a motivated rehabilitation specialist from a registered nursing or allied health professional background with strong rehabilitation expertise.

Stroke Rehabilitation Centre (SRC) is a 38-bedded inpatient facility delivering specialist stroke recovery and rehabilitation. The Early Supported Discharge (ESD) Team provides community-based domiciliary rehabilitation following discharge. MPRAs work across both teams to enhance patient experience through specialist rehabilitation support.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership and line management to the MPRA team, working closely with the ESD team, SRC ward manager, stroke consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team as part of the stroke leadership group. The role will support the development and delivery of innovative stroke rehabilitation across inpatient and community settings, promoting an inclusive culture that values staff wellbeing and collaboration with nursing and therapy teams.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic practitioner with significant post-registration experience, able to manage a complex rehabilitation caseload while leading the MPRA team effectively as part of the multidisciplinary workforce.

Welsh language skills are desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome to apply.

### Qualifications

- Recognised qualification degree / equivalent in relevant profession
- NMC or HCPC Registration
- Specialist training/courses to Postgraduate Diploma level
- Evidence of M level learning or relevant higher-level qualification and experience
