Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Pacing and Cath Lab) Leeds Hospital | Cardiac | Permanent | Full Time | Up to £50,000 per annum and a £2,000 Welcome Bonus for Pacing accredited Cardiac Physiologists (HRUK/IBHRE/EHRA). 37.5 hours per week - Part Time hours will be considered for this role (3 days a week) At Nuffield Health, we're looking for an excellent communicator to join our Cardiac Unit. As part of the team, you'll enjoy the chance to help shape an outstanding patient experience.

### Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job Perform a broad range of procedures in the cardiac cath lab as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) including: diagnostic coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention, right heart catheterisation, and PFO/ASD closures. Monitoring ECG and pressure tracings throughout, promptly reporting any abnormalities/significant changes to the wider team. Support cardiac device implants monitoring ECG and intra-cardiac signals to ensure accurate lead placement, promptly reporting any abnormalities/significant changes. Lead cardiac device follow-up clinics in line with BHRS guidelines, clinical governance standards, and local standard operating procedure. Assess device function, battery status, make clinically appropriate programming changes optimising device performance and battery longevity and maintain accurate records to support audit, service improvement, and governance. Ensure that appropriate Cardiac Device stock is available for implantation procedures. Deliver high-quality testing, interpreting, analysis and reporting where appropriate of all non-invasive cardiology tests including: ECG's, Ambulatory ECG's, Ambulatory BP's, Exercise Tolerance Tests with all non-invasive testing being performed and reported in accordance to national guidelines and local standard operating procedures. Timely and accurate Ambulatory ECG analysis and reporting accounts for a significant proportion of daily workload.
